Eifel round-trip with the bike – along Kyll, Mosel and the maars

The four days round-trip in the beginning leads you through the romantic Kyll valley with many castles, quiet river banks and an abundant flora and fauna. A plethora of attractions such as the ice and milling stone caves near Birresborn, the nature exploration path in the gardens of the St. Thomas cloister or the Gondorf Eifel Park invite you for a side step with a little rest.
Always accompanied by the Mosel the second leg starts with the picturesque city of Bernkastel-Kues. Steeply inclined vineyards coin the landscape and near the river nicely set small villages and towns invite for a rest, often surmounted by a powerful castle.
Back in the Vulkaneifel the third leg begins with the Maare-Mosel cycling trail – special highlight: the three maars, and deep-blue lakes that are always worth a visit.
Finally the round trip leads you with a quite short but demanding leg on the Eifel-Ardennes bike trail back to Gerolstein

Our selected biker tours through the idyllic Kyll valley, towards the Mosel, the three maars of Daun, and lake Kronenburg offer numerous castles and museums, parks and gardens, rivers and lakes which deserve to be discovered by bicycle.
Meanwhile you are enjoying the surroundings without much effort, the electric bike does your work – your natural pedal movements are supported and when climbing a road you will enjoy an additional boost. This is the way the Eifel heights can be climbed in a relaxed manner while enjoying our wonderful landscape without damaging the environment.
