Eifelsteig

From the flat north near Aachen, over the "Hohes Venn" (or "High Fen"), through the lonesome Rurtal, past imposing dams, the "Eifel National Park" and over the lime Eifel and Vulkaneifel to the Southern Eifel, the Eifelsteig passes through a wide variety of areas, constantly revealing new landscapes to hikers.

Touring tips

Guided tours

From April to October guided tours on the Eifelsteig, the geo-trails or in the Kyll valley are offered regularly every Tuesday.

Every Sunday as well as on further selected dates you can go on hiking tours through the Vulkaneifel with the hiking guides of the “Eifelverein”.
