Musical rocket launch: Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force with "Into Orbit" at Lokschuppen Gerolstein

The wait is over: on Sat, 7 March 2026, the traditional Lokschuppen Gerolstein opens its doors again after a long time and transforms into a gateway to the stars: the Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force presents its spectacular program "Into Orbit". The audience can look forward to an evening full of inspiration and amazement with iconic film music from classics such as Interstellar, Top Gun: Maverick and E.T., complemented by current hits from Bruno Mars and Coldplay. Breathtaking visuals and specially created arrangements turn the concert into an overall experience that appeals to all the senses. Under the direction of conductor Major Jasper Staps, the orchestra, together with the outstanding singers Natasja Blacquière-den Toom and Merijn van Haren, unfolds a sound spectrum that touches, inspires and resonates for a long time. The evening is rounded off by the warm hospitality of the DRK-Ortsverein Gerolstein e.V. and Eifellicht e.V.
