Hello dear children, I am Willi Basalt!

The Gerolsteiner Land in the beautiful Vulkaneifel is my home and I would like to show you the region's fascinating volcanic past. 

My tip: You can meet me in person at many locations in the holiday region. I am 1.70 m tall and impossible to miss! I show families with children everything they can experience and do here with us.

For example, you can find me in the Stadtkyll Kurpark, at the Bielenhof Alm petting zoo in Birgel and in the Bolsdorfer Tälchen valley on the barefoot trail near Hillesheim. I also go on exciting mini golf adventures with you at EifelAdventures in Berlingen and show you the way to the ice and millstone caves in Hohenfels Essingen. There is also a fantastic adventure playground here!
