Telefonmuseum

Gerolstein

Since his apprenticeship as a telecommunications craftsman in 1951, museum operator Heribert Schirmer has collected more than 1,100 exhibits, 700 telephones from 15 nations and 125 years of telephone history, as well as 400 radios and phono devices from 90 years of broadcasting history. From an original replica of Graham Bell (Scottish inventor of the telephone) from 1877 to today's ISDN technology, you can see technology from the past 75 years in the Telephone Museum.
