The seal is valid for three years and certifies the hostel's exceptional quality and hiking-friendliness. The youth hostel has been a popular starting point for tours through the Vulkaneifel for many years. With its quiet location above the fountain town and directly on the premium Eifelsteig hiking trail, it offers ideal conditions for nature lovers and active vacationers. Hiker-friendly accommodation is a central component of the “Wanderbares Deutschland” seal: all award-winning hosts meet strict quality criteria that are geared towards the special needs of hikers. The Eifelsteig Youth Hostel in Gerolstein not only impresses with its comfortable rooms and regional cuisine, but also with special offers for hikers.
