Projects of the Vulkaneifel Tourist Association

For years, the Vulkaneifel Tourism Association has been implementing many projects that specifically benefit the tourism sector in the Gerolsteiner Land.

The income is used exclusively to finance the guest card booklets, fixed costs and investments in the tourism infrastructure.

In the past, the TVV has specifically made or financially supported the following investments:

• Annual payment of a lump sum to the VG for free admission to the indoor and outdoor swimming pool in Gerolstein.
• Annual payment of a lump sum to the natural history museum for free admission
• Annual payment of a lump sum to the Touristik GmbH Gerolsteiner Land for free admission to the Church of the Redeemer in Gerolstein and Villa Sarabodis.
• Financing of a digital guest folder for member businesses
• Financing of several resting benches, which were installed together with the municipalities along the Eifelsteig and on local hiking trails.
• Subsidy for the financing of signposts in the Gerolsteiner Land.
• Subsidy for hiking signs in various municipalities
• * Construction of a bicycle station at Brunnenplatz in Gerolstein; also enables eBikes to be charged, among other things
• Leasing of two electric vehicles
• Financing of sun loungers
• Financing of water and play equipment for the indoor swimming pool
• Seating groups with tables along the Kyll cycle path
• Organisation of music events in the summer
• Financial support for major events
• Purchase and installation of several defibrillators
• Advertising wall for trade fairs
• Installation of a XXXXL bench
• Financing of tourist advertising material
