Two new faces join the team
Touristik GmbH Gerolsteiner Land is delighted to welcome two new colleagues to the team.
Touristik GmbH Gerolsteiner Land is delighted to welcome two new colleagues to the team. With their diverse professional experience and fresh ideas, Kevin Hopp and Malin Blomenkamp will bring new impetus to holiday planning and actively shape the future development of tourism in the region.
Kevin Hopp took up his new position in the Touristik GmbH Gerolsteiner Land team on 1 July 2025. Born in the Oberbergischer Kreis district and after more than two decades in Bonn, he recently found a new home in the Northern Eifel. After many years in the television and media industry, he made a conscious decision to switch to tourism – a new and exciting field for him, offering varied tasks and opportunities for development. In future, he will focus on project work, supporting funding programmes and advising guests. He has already had a number of experiences in the region in his private life: from the exciting detective trail through Hillesheim to a nature trail along the Kyll river and the barefoot path in the Bolsdorfer Tälchen valley. The communicative father of two children particularly appreciates the family-friendly orientation of the holiday region and the tourist attractions for younger guests.
Malin Blomenkamp joined the team at the Stadtkyll location on 1 August 2025. Raised in Blankenheim and now living in Stadtkyll, she is firmly rooted in the region and knows the Gerolsteiner Land holiday region first-hand. After working in management in the retail sector, Malin brings a keen sense of customer focus to the team. As the mother of a young daughter, she is starting with a part-time position of 12 hours per week and knows exactly what is important for a successful family holiday. Her responsibilities are varied: in addition to advising guests, she is also involved in package deals and sustainable infrastructure measures. Thanks to her experience and close connection to the region, Malin is a competent contact person for locals and visitors alike. ‘It's nice to be working so close to home, and the team has given me a very warm welcome,’ says Malin, delighted with her new role.
The entire team welcomes Kevin Hopp and Malin Blomenkamp and looks forward to the new additions and future collaboration.
