‘Travel for All’ seal of approval once again awarded to the Hillesheim Tourist Information Centre

Accessibility tested: June 2025 - May 2028

Touristik GmbH Gerolsteiner Land is setting a strong example for inclusion and accessibility: the Hillesheim Tourist Information Centre has once again been awarded the nationally recognised ‘Travel for All’ seal of approval. The award confirms a high level of accessibility - especially for people with physical disabilities - and is valid until 2028. Visitors who rely on walking aids, are travelling with pushchairs or appreciate special comfort will find optimal conditions at the Hillesheim Tourist Information Office. The premises are barrier-free, accessible at ground level and equipped to meet the needs of different types of guests. This ensures smooth access to tourist information - without any obstacles. The ‘Accessibility tested’ seal of approval may be used for three years and labelled with the official pictograms. It stands for transparency and quality - and creates trust when planning a trip. Rheinland-Pfalz Tourismus GmbH promotes the ‘Travel for All’ project throughout the state and supports tourism businesses in implementing barrier-free offers. The aim is to provide people with mobility or sensory impairments with reliable guidance and to make holiday offers accessible to everyone.

Together with the tourist information centres in Stadtkyll and Gerolstein, which are also certified, Touristik GmbH Gerolsteiner Land shows that participation is an integral part of the regional tourism strategy. Measures will continue to be taken in the future to further reduce barriers - so that the beauty and diversity of the region can be experienced by everyone.
