Winter adventure in the cold season

As soon as the snow falls, the Eifel is a unique paradise. The snowy landscape is perfect for cosy winter hikes, but also for sledging for young and old. The mountainous landscape is of course perfect for sledging down small slopes.

You will also find individual ski areas in the neighbouring regions of the Gerolsteiner Land holiday region. Of course, you can only visit these areas if the snow depth is suitable. You can always find the latest winter sports report here.

Would you rather try your hand at ice skating? In the south of the beer town of Bitburg, there is a large ice rink that is open until April and is even suitable for ice hockey and figure skating. Music provides the right atmosphere, for example at the ice disco, and delicious food is available in the catering area.
