Lissendorf Wanderweg LB 7
Lissendorf
The circular hiking trail LB 7 leads from Lissendorf uphill along wide paths and shady forests to the Mottenberg.
This approx. 9 km long circular trail leads steadily uphill from Lissendorf church. There are several benches along the way where you can take a break and enjoy the wonderful views over the Eifel landscape, which still shows traces of its volcanic past. After 2 km, the gravel path leads into a wide forest path, which continues straight ahead through beautiful deciduous and fir forests.
At the 7-way junction, a refuge invites you to take a break. This is where the Hocheifelweg, SY 5, J 7, Felsenweg, Köhpädche, LB 7 and an unnamed path meet. We keep left here and hike to Bob Etzel. Bob Etzel is a memorial stone for a hunting dog and/or its hunter. Turn left here and walk past the weekend settlement back to Lissendorf. The hike is only suitable for baby carriages to a limited extent, as there is a long ascent on the way there and a steep descent on the way back.
