Hello everyone,

My name is Willi Basalt and my home is the beautiful Gerolsteiner Land. With our new hiking pass, I would like to show you my homeland on exciting and varied hikes and explore them together with you.

You can now pick up your own hiking pass free of charge at the tourist information offices in Gerolstein, Hillesheim and Stadtkyll.

In the hiking pass you will find 6 different hiking trails that you can hike together with your family. Always look out for stamp boxes hidden along the way. You will find such a box on every tour. These boxes contain stamps that you can use to stamp the hiking trail you are on in your hiking passport. You'll also find great games and puzzles for when you're out and about.

Collect as many stamps as possible and eagerly fill your hiking passport!

Once you have completed your stamp hunt (no matter how many stamps you have collected), come back to one of our tourist information offices. Here you will receive a prize for your great achievement!

Please be careful with the wooden boxes and the stamps. Do not take any stamps home, as other families will want to find them.

If you notice missing stamps or damaged wooden boxes, please let your parents know. They should contact the Tourist Information Office directly on 06591 13 3000 or touristinfo@gerolsteiner-land.de.
