In October 2004, the last special trips took place in the direction of the German border, where the track between Jünkerath and Losheim was being dismantled at the same time. An occasion for an evening of shared memories of the time when trains still travelled between the Venn and the Eifel. In conjunction with a joint dinner (€ 25.00 per person plus drinks). Vernissage Ausstellung "Finsterlay - eine Reise in das Innere des Lavastromes"

Vernissage for the exhibition "Finsterlay" - with a visual presentation on the artistic-documentary works of photographers Marc Hillesheim and Olaf Kaul in the Eifel millstone district. Finsterlay is the name of an imaginary place in a real world. It stands for mystical power. For the darkness, the cold of the night in the basalt pits and the eternal darkness in the lava cellars.
