Musical Rocket Launch: Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force with "Into Orbit" at the Lokschuppen Gerolstein

The wait is over: On March 7, 2026, the Lokschuppen Gerolstein will once again open its doors after a long time and shine as a glamorous stage for a concert event of the highest caliber. In this extraordinary location, the Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force will showcase its powerful interpretations from Interstellar to Coldplay, creating a musical fireworks display that bathes Gerolstein in sparkling stardust.

The audience can look forward to an evening full of inspiration and wonder, featuring iconic film scores from classics like Interstellar, Top Gun: Maverick, and E.T., complemented by contemporary hits from Bruno Mars and Coldplay. Breathtaking visuals and new arrangements will transform the concert into a total experience. Under the direction of conductor Major Jasper Staps, the orchestra, together with the outstanding singers Natasja Blacquière-den Toom and Merijn van Haren, will create a sound spectrum that touches and resonates long after.
