The trail passes along the outskirts of Hinterweiler and Kirchweiler, before the impressive Ernstberg – the highest mountain in the Vulkaneifel – catches your eye.

Distance: 8 km / 240 m elevation gain

Meeting point: Pavilion at Kyllwiese, 54570 Mürlenbach
For hikes outside, carpooling can be arranged. A contribution towards the driver's expenses is expected, approximately 3 - 5 € per person, depending on the distance.
