On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the streets are clear for cyclists, skaters, and hikers – completely free of motor traffic between Blankenheim and Ahrbrück. The popular Tour de Ahrtal invites you to a grand anniversary tour that uniquely combines movement, appreciation of nature, and regional hospitality. Look forward to a colorful program along the route with music, culinary specialties, interactive activities, and exciting anniversary surprises for young and old. Whether sporty and ambitious or leisurely on the way – there is something for everyone!

Zur traditionellen Jahresabschlusswanderung mit Fackeln und Lichter laden wir alle Wanderfreunde, insbesondere aber auch die Kinder recht herzlich ein.We cordially invite all hikers, especially children, to the traditional end-of-year hike with torches and lights. We start on 28.12.2024, at 6 pm at the church square and hike on small detours to "Haus Petra", where we end the club year comfortably at the winter campfire with mulled wine and cocoa.

Tag der offenen Tür im Bahnbetriebswerk Gerolstein

The Gerolstein railway depot opens its doors on the weekend and offers a colorful program featuring live music, culinary offerings, and exciting insights into the historical site. You can see, among other things, the turntable, water cranes, and historical as well as newly built buildings. A special highlight is the Adler – a replica of the oldest steam locomotive in Germany – which will be visiting and conducting shuttle rides from the railway depot. Look forward to an informative and sociable experience.

Neben einer Curlingbahn können Sie leckere Drinks mit Freuden, Familie oder Arbeitskollegen genießen und an jedem Donenrstag Abend die legendäre After-Work-Party feiern. Let the impressive variety of our fully functional machines inspire you: from the majestic steam engine from 1917, through the mechanical oil press that has been pressing fresh oil for over 130 years, to the three-story grain mill, which is the heart of the mill.
