The theater group Birresborn will perform the play "The Birresborn Village Jubilee" by Beate Irmisch on Saturday, March 9, 2026, March 14, 2026, March 21, 2026, and March 28, 2026.

A big celebration is in store for the villagers of Birresborn. The football club, church choir, and fire department are celebrating a milestone village anniversary and have agreed to organize the festivities together.

Unfortunately, the well-intentioned idea is not so easy to implement, as the interests of the individual board members are tremendously divergent. They simply cannot agree, and soon enough, tensions arise among the organizers. Now, good advice is hard to come by, and they consult Pastor Bremmel.

Pastor Bremmel's idea of reviving the long-dormant fair during the big village anniversary does not meet with much enthusiasm. The proposal to also perform a play written by Pastor Bremmel himself at this fair almost turns into a petty war. But then, television gets involved...

The performances start at 7:30 PM at the community center "Auf dem Büchel" in Birresborn.
Admission is from 6:30 PM.
