In Wiesbaum, there is a fresh market in front of the youth center every Friday from 4 to 6 pm. However, we ask that you take into account public holidays (e.g. Easter, which is usually brought forward to Thursdays) and company vacation periods.

Let the impressive variety of our fully functional machines inspire you: from the majestic steam engine from 1917, through the mechanical oil press that has been pressing fresh oil for over 130 years, to the three-story grain mill, which is the heart of the mill. Erinnerung an die Eisenbahn in der Westeifel

In 2025, the last remnant of the railway that once extended to Bleialf, Waxweiler, and Neuerburg in the Westeifel will be dismantled. On this occasion, the Ahütte Museum Station will present a photo and film lecture in conjunction with a communal exchange of memories during a convivial dinner. Participation only upon prior registration in connection with the dinner at the station's restaurant. Flat rate of 25 EUR for the dinner plus drinks.
