At 2:00 PM the “City Tour along the Old City Wall” starts. Peter Horsch will explain the course of the medieval city wall below the Löwenburg, which can still be seen in some places in the historical center of Gerolstein.
The meeting point is at the Old Town Hall, Hauptstraße 72.

Following this tour, from 3:30 PM in the exhibition room of the city archive (Hauptstraße 39), the “Historical City Walk”, which has been marked in the city area this year, will be presented in “virtual form.” The presentation will showcase and explain approximately 20 locations that are of particular significance to the history of Gerolstein.

cost per person is 3 € each or 5 € for both events

The two offerings are also aimed at “former Gerolstein residents” who are visiting their hometown over the holidays.
