The 11.5 km long community hike of the Eifel associations starts and ends at the community center in Büscheich and leads through the city forest to the "Dietzenley" with observation tower. From there, it continues past the "Königsfichte" and the rock faces in the nature reserve "Heiligenstein" to the shelter "Burgblick" with a view into the Kyll Valley. The lowest point is the castle ruin "Löwenburg," offering views of the town and Gerolsteiner Dolomites. Afterward, the path leads back to Büscheich via the forest roller coaster and the "Büschkapelle." After about four hours, the tour concludes with coffee and cake at the community center; non-hikers are also welcome. Backpack provisions are recommended.
