    The Helenenquelle on the Kyll Cycle Path near Gerolstein Town Hall is a popular resting place for cyclists and hikers. The fresh mineral water comes from a depth of approx. 90 m and can be drunk free of charge from April-October from the brass tap. Here it is worth taking a break and the park is ideal for a small picnic in nature.

    The ruins of the medieval Löwenburg Castle are towering high above the City of Gerolstein. The Castle is open all year round and offers a wonderful view over Gerolstein, the dolomites massif and the kyll valley. Every two years the castle-actors stage an open-air theatre within the historical walls.

All of our tourist information offices have been checked for accessibility and labeled "Travel for all" label. "Reisen für Alle" is the nationwide label for accessibility. This is the first time that information necessary for guests has been recorded by trained assessors and evaluated using clear quality criteria. Various promotional projects are based on this approach and provide important impetus for greater awareness of barrier-free experiences in Germany.
