On June 11, 2026 , Gerolsteiner Brunnen will open its park facility in the heart of the city of Gerolstein: the "Gerolsteiner Sternpark" – a place where nature, movement, and encounter come together. Starting at 1:00 p.m., the company invites everyone to a public park festival: With an official opening, snacks & drinks, a great entertainment program for guests both large and small, as well as the opportunity to explore the new and interactive experience world at the company location Vulkanring: either by bus shuttle or along the new hiking route that connects the two locations.
On site, you can have a good look around three different caves and find out what stories the caves can tell from 2000 years ago. Originally created by the mining of millstones, over the centuries the caves became an ice cellar and were highly valued as a refuge in times of crisis. Today, bats use the caves as winter quarters. “Happy Gerolstein” brings life to the city center – Experience Sunday for the whole familyGerolstein invites you to a cheerful city festival: On Sunday, June 14, the city center will be transformed from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. into a colorful experience mile full of entertainment, shopping, and encounters. Under the motto “Happy Gerolstein,” visitors can expect a varied program for the whole family. The focus will be on fascinating street comedy, magic, and acrobatics with artists along the main street providing excellent entertainment. Whether humorous performances, impressive acrobatics, or astonishing magic tricks – awe is guaranteed here. On June 20, 2026, starting at 2 p.m., the new fairy tale path in Jünkerath will be officially opened – with a joint walk with reading educator Ulrike Erb-May, music by children's song singer Uwe Reetz, as well as games, fun, snacks, and drinks for the whole family. The circular path, around 2.5 kilometers long, combines nature, fantasy, and interactive storytelling stations into a special experience for children, families, and guests from the Gerolsteiner Land.
