Large flea market on Prinzenallee in Jünkerath starting at 2:00 p.m. (stall setup from 12:00 p.m.). Free stall spaces can be reserved immediately by email at flohmarkt@juenkerath.de. There will also be live music starting at 4:00 p.m. with KATO, followed by Tom T. Marshall & Band and a diverse food and beverage selection.

A mixed program is offered by the annual cycling campaign day on the former railway line between Jünkerath and Büllingen on Sunday, August 9, 20265. “Get on your bikes, ready, go,” is the motto of the event on the railway trail between Belgium and Germany. At 6 action points, a colorful gastronomy, information, and participation program will be provided.

Visitors can expect a varied family day with games, interactive activities, music, and culinary offerings. Cyclists benefit from a service station and can also participate in an official raffle of the cycling action day. Entertainment is provided, among other things, by a bouncy castle, face painting for children, sports and game offerings, as well as a diverse stage program featuring the brass band Obere Kyll, Soul-X-Press, and the Prinzsingers. The local community warmly invites everyone to spend a festive day together in Jünkerath.

Attention, it could get wet. The popular family flea market on the Brunnenplatz in Gerolstein takes place every 1. Saturday of the month from 08:00 am to 03:00 pm. The organiser and contact person is Mr Thomas Meyer, Tel.: 06591 9840654. The family flea market does not take place in extreme weather conditions (snow, heavy rain ...).

On wolf night, the guests come to the park after the last wolf feeding. After a short welcome, the guests walk with the keeper to the wolves for another feeding. Afterwards, there is a barbecue with the guests in the castle.
