Enjoy relaxing days together with your dog amidst vast forests, clear streams and volcanic landscapes. Numerous pet-friendly accommodations and suitable places to stop for refreshments make your stay uncomplicated and relaxed. Look forward to long walks and plenty of exercise in the great outdoors.
To ensure that your vacation remains pleasant for everyone, dogs must be kept on a lead on public roads and footpaths in urban areas. Please also keep your dog on a lead in nature reserves, in forests with a high wildlife population and near grazing animals. So nothing stands in the way of a stress-free break in Gerolsteiner Land.
Lake Kronenburg near Hallschlag offers plenty of space for owners and dogs. Although dogs must be kept on a lead at the lake, it is still great for fetching sticks and swimming with a tow lead. Dogs are only not allowed to be walked in the specially designated no-dog zone.
Dogs are also allowed to run around in the Kyll to their heart's content. But beware of designated fishing areas. Dogs must leave the water here for safety reasons.
The 27-hectare Kronenburger See is a recreational lake for sailors, surfers, anglers and swimmers. Parking fee €4.00/day/vehicle, a parking ticket must be obtained from the parking ticket machine.
The Kyll is a 127.6 km long, northern and left tributary of the Moselle. It flows from the Belgian region of Wallonia through the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Gerolsteiner Land offers everything that vacationers with dogs are looking for and want: Forests, meadows, water, lakes and miles of hiking trails. Take a look at our regional hiking trails! You're sure to find the perfect walk for you and your dog.
What could be better than capturing your vacation time with your four-legged friend forever?
An experienced dog photographer captures the special moments between humans and dogs with a lot of feeling and patience - whether they are romping around, on a hike or in a relaxed atmosphere. The result is authentic souvenir photos in the Gerolsteiner Land vacation region.
