The 27-hectare Kronenburger See is a recreational lake for sailors, surfers, anglers and swimmers.

Large leisure facilities: children's playground, volleyball court, fitness equipment, kiosk, campsite, youth campsite, beaver camp with self-catering cabins, vacation park, boat hire, surfing and sailing school.

Parking fee €4.00/day/vehicle, a parking ticket must be obtained from the parking ticket machine.

Created in 1973/77 as recreational water, the lake also serves as a rainwater retention basin for the flood waters of the Kyll and Taubkyll rivers.

Tip for a vacation with your dog:
Lake Kronenburg offers plenty of space for owners and dogs. Although dogs must be kept on a lead at the lake, they can still fetch sticks and swim with a tow line. Dogs are not allowed to be walked in the specially designated no-dog zone.
