Our holiday apartment "Steffi" is close to the center in the traffic-calmed street "Am Brückelchen". From here it's about a 5-minute walk to the entrance to your Eifelsteig hike. In the 10 minute walk, which is the center of the small town with indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, indoor tennis courts, riding arena, restaurants, local history and natural history museum, reservoir, Church of the Redeemer with Villa Sarabodis, etc. The vacation rental is on the first floor property house. It means you have an oasis of comfort in an area of 90 square meters, in which up to 4 people can leave everyday life behind. After a long, different day you have a book or a movie in the big life (satellite TV with flat screen). If you love to buy, this is a breeze in our fully controlled, enclosed kitchen. From the 5-plate ceramic hob to the oven, microwave, workstations, dishwasher, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, egg cooker, frying pans, saucepan and professional knife, everything is available. You have to enjoy the midday and evening sun on the covered balcony with teak furniture. Welcome to the Maijeschhof! Idyllically situated at the foot of Kasselburg Castle, in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, the Maijeschhof—built in 1807—combines country life in the old village center of Pelm with easy walking access to the town of Gerolstein. Our lovingly renovated former farmhouse offers plenty of space and numerous opportunities for a relaxing vacation. The historic barn houses four charming vacation apartments that combine modern comfort with rustic charm. Our common room (available for rent directly from the owner only) offers a cozy gathering spot in front of the wood-burning stove—ideal for cooking together, enjoying coffee, or even holding meetings and seminars. During the warmer months, the sun terrace, garden, and barbecue area invite you to relax. For the adventurous, there’s even the option to camp on our lawn. Apartment 4 is accessible for people with limited mobility. It’s located at ground level and can be reached without steps. The shower is also at ground level and equipped with a shower stool and grab bar. The door widths meet accessibility standards, and there is ample space for people with disabilities to move around freely. Air conditioning: The building, with its thick fieldstone walls, is heated by underfloor heating powered by an air-source heat pump, which automatically switches to central cooling when outdoor temperatures are high. Owner Ellen Petry spent a happy childhood here; she purchased the farm in 2021 and now lives in the old farmhouse. She will welcome you personally and is available to offer advice and assistance.

Our fully equipped ⭐⭐⭐⭐ vacation home, with a beautiful view of the Kyll Valley and space for up to 10 people, awaits you in the heart of the Vulkaneifel.  Very spacious! With plenty of room for young and old alike. And so you can relax and enjoy even a day of bad weather, our game room or lounge offers everything your heart desires. In addition to a ping-pong table and dartboard, you’ll also find a foosball table and pool table, among other things. Our two reading nooks invite you to browse through books, or you can choose a board game or card game from our large collection in the living room. Our selection of DVDs also offers a great way to unwind from everyday life and spend time together during movie nights. Located right next to the Kyll Valley Bike Trail, our house is the perfect starting point for great bike rides through nature. Our spacious garage is available for storing your bikes, and you’re also welcome to charge your e-bikes there.  Hiking enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either, as you can explore various hiking trails right from our front door—whether to the Kahlem volcano, the Goldberg, or the Birresborn ice caves and the Riesenbank. Ideal for clubs, cycling or hiking groups, and vacations with family and friends. Whether for a great short getaway or a full-length vacation, dogs are welcome guests at Haus Eifelruhe. Out of consideration for other guests, we simply ask that your four-legged friends not get on the sofa or the beds.  Starting in July 2026, we’ll offer you the option to charge your electric vehicle at our in-house wallbox. Our 2 cozy vacation homes (semi-detached) are situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village. Ideally located for hikers and bikers. With parking at the house and lockable storage for bicycles. Each house has 3 double rooms and 2 bathrooms. From the living room there is access to the terrace and garden with dog-proof fencing.The pictures are for both vacation homes, because both halves of the house are the same, only furnished in mirror image.

Detached vacation home on the edge of the forest in a high location with a panoramic view of approx. 40 km. The property is fenced, there is a covered garden terrace, a garden house, garden furniture and garden benches available. Our Ahbachtal vacation home is located in the small Eifel village of Üxheim with a wonderful view of the unique landscape of the Volcanic Eifel. There are a total of two double rooms and one twin room in the vacation home. You can relax in the spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub after extensive hiking tours. The kitchen, dining room and living room are open plan, and a small terrace facing the village can be reached directly from the living room. We have equipped our kitchen with the utmost care; in addition to sufficient crockery for a total of 6 people, you will also find a hand mixer, a kettle etc.. You can reach the second covered terrace in the house's own garden through the utility room. A washing machine can be found here on request. We are also happy to welcome your dog in the Ahbachtal vacation home, please contact us before arrival, we have vacation equipment ready for your four-legged friend. A spacious garage is available for your car and/or bicycles, there is also enough space for children's and/or dog bike trailers. In the tranquil village of Loogh in the middle of the Vulkaneifel, close to the Eifelsteig, you will find the Herding vacation apartment as part of a vacation home. The apartment has recently been partially renovated and lovingly furnished. A separate entrance to the apartment leads through the hallway into a modern country-style kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge, coffee machine, crockery etc.). You then enter the cozy living room, where two sofas invite you to linger in front of the fireplace. In the adjoining conservatory is the dining room with a large table that easily seats 6 people.The recently renovated bathroom is accessible from the hallway. It has a large walk-in shower with seating. There are two small bedrooms opposite the bathroom. They offer space for a 2x2m bed (bedroom 1) and a 2x1.4m bed (bedroom 2). Bedroom 2 also has a closet. The bedrooms are only separated by a door and bedroom 1 is a connecting room for bedroom 2. We therefore recommend our vacation apartment for families or groups who know each other very well. In the large outdoor area there is a terrace with seating, the large wild and romantic garden and two natural ponds. One of these two natural ponds can also be used as a swimming pond. Both ponds are freely accessible and not fenced in - this should be taken into account when booking with small children.The vacation apartment is located in a small village and the garden is often visited by cats from the neighboring farms (note allergy risk). We invite you to come to rest in this idyllic setting.

From there, you have a wonderful view in the evenings of the illuminated Erlöserkapelle, built in 1903. The cosy holiday flat is located in a quiet, wooded area. Nearby you will find cycling and hiking trails - the Eifelsteig, Heimatspuren, Eifleschleifen, Traumpfade -, the Dreimühlen waterfall, geo-path and many beautiful viewpoints and excursion destinations. On request, 2 guest rooms (shared shower/WC) can also be booked. We are a family-friendly house. Your pet is also welcome! DVD player, games and books are available, as well as a cot with changing table and high chair. In addition, a children's table with chairs is available for our little guests.
