On the second weekend of Advent, 7 and 8 December, the traditional Christmas market at Burgbering Glaadt opens its doors. On Saturday from 04:00 pm to 09:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 06:00 pm, it welcomes all visitors.

Let yourself be enchanted by the ambience of the "New Colony", as the listed Burgbering is also known. Together with you, we would like to forget everyday life and worries for a moment. Regional exhibitors present themselves and their local products. Small and large local artists offer their unique handicrafts for sale. St Nicholas will also visit the small Christmas market.

Musical entertainment and culinary delights will be provided.

Take some time out and get in the mood for Christmas. Enjoy the beautiful things, meet friends and acquaintances. Treat yourself to a break and linger.

On selected days, the technology museum comes to life and takes you on a journey back in time to when mills, stationary engines, and steam engines set the pace for progress. Let the impressive variety of our fully functional machines inspire you: from the majestic steam engine from 1917, through the mechanical oil press that has been pressing fresh oil for over 130 years, to the three-story grain mill, which is the heart of the mill.
