Benefizausstellung und Kulturwerktage in Weißenseifen

At the beginning of June, the popular cultural summer in Weißenseifen starts again. It kicks off from June 4th to June 7th with a variety of creative courses for young people and adults, inviting them to carve, pottery, stone sculpture, copper work, or design figures out of papier-mâché. Following these 25th Culture Workshop Days, there will be a special, unique benefit exhibition for the Culture Workshop in the Galerie am Pi. Under the motto “In Our Own Interest”, from Sunday, June 7th, pictures, prints, and sculptures will be on display and can be purchased at modest prices ranging from 29 to 99 euros. Charity Exhibition and Cultural Workshop Days in Weißenseifen

At the beginning of June, the popular Cultural Summer in Weißenseifen starts again. It kicks off from June 4 to June 7 with a variety of creative experience courses for young people and adults, inviting them to carve, pottery, stone sculpting, copperwork, or create figures from papier-mâché.

Following these 25th Cultural Workshop Days, a special, one-time charity exhibition for the cultural workshop will take place in the gallery at Pi. Under the motto “In Our Own Interest”, from Sunday, June 7, images, prints, and sculptures will be on display and available for small prices ranging from 29 to 99 euros. The works are donated by members of the association such as Christiane Hamann, Jacqueline Beauducel, Lydia Schend, and Rüdiger Steiner, as well as by the founder of the site Albrecht Klauer-Simonis (1918 – 2002), Titus Lerner, Michael Wihr (1956 – 2024), and friends like Franziskus Wendels. At the large Weißenseifen Family Summer Festival on June 14, the works can be auctioned in a “silent auction” for a small contribution under the moderation of a well-known "auctioneer."

Like the gallery at Pi, the Antonia-Berning-Museum will also be open that day, as the summer festival is a trio collaborative event in conjunction with Haus Michael e.V., the Antonia Berning Foundation, and the Association for the Promotion of Artistic Work e.V.

This year’s regional major event for young and old also features the group Indigo – Sounds with Franziskus Wendels & Partners, the Alphorn Rebels, the Art Circus booth, a donkey hike for children, crafting, games, and participatory offers, as well as culinary delights and a variety of products from the workshops at Haus Michael or from the many small booths with crafts of all kinds. There are still places available, including for the Cultural Workshop Days.
