Interaktive Fotoreise mit "TaxiTom" im Museumsbahnhof

On Saturday, May 30, "TaxiTom" will make a stop at the museum train station Ahütte and invites travelers to embark on an interactive photo journey through the nights of Cologne in the 1990s and 2000s. Tom Wolff winks at himself by calling himself a "Taxigraf" - a wordplay combining "taxi driver" and "photographer." For about 30 years, the camera has been his constant companion while Tom Wolff was out at night with his taxi. The result is photographic snapshots "from life." Tom Wolff humorously refers to himself as the "Taxigraf" - a play on words combining "taxi driver" and "photographer." For about 30 years, the camera was Tom Wolff's constant companion as he drove his taxi at night. The result is a series of photographic snapshots "from life." As diverse as the photographs are, so too are the stories behind them. The most exciting stories, the most interesting encounters, and the memorable experiences inspired this unusual taxi driver.
 
A few years ago, Tom Wolff parked his taxi. But since then, he continues to drive - in his mind. Now he tells his stories about the nocturnal taxi rides and how the taxi became a stage for life at night. 
 
The event at the Ahütte Museum Station consists of two interactive parts: first, visitors can browse through various photographs showing passengers in "TaxiTom": sometimes contemplative, sometimes very joyful, sometimes heartfelt, sometimes sad... Visitors can then select the photographs that pique their interest and would like to hear a story from "TaxiTom" about. However, before that, the station's gastronomy invites attendees for a short break to recharge.
