The Museum Station Ahütte has established itself as a location for live player experiences: Participants take on a role and attempt to prevent or solve a crime. For the first time, the Museum Station Ahütte will also host a crime game on May 3rd, which goes far beyond the borders of the museum station.

On Saturday evening, May 2nd, the weekend begins with the "classic" of the crime game at the museum station: The crime dinner "A robbery on the legendary night express?" Here, a game lasting about three hours is offered in the authentic setting of the station, where participants become travelers wishing to take the legendary night train to Constantinople. The stop in Ahütte has a reason: There are indications that a robbery has been planned on the train usually occupied by particularly wealthy travelers. Therefore, it was decided to reroute this train secretly over Ahütte - but what good is the best detour if there is evidently someone among the travelers who is playing a false game? Finding out who that is between the 3 courses of dinner is anything but easy, as the legendary atmosphere of that train emerges, which has already been the subject of various books and adaptations: Carried by the mood of fellow travelers who all seem to have their secrets instead of playing with "open cards." The crime dinner costs 79 EUR per person plus drinks. Participation only by prior registration as long as spots are available.

It continues on Sunday, May 3rd, when the station becomes a crime scene for the first time: Investigators are now being sought to solve the case of what might have happened to the unfortunate traveler that night. Those who are registered will receive a personal time slot starting around 11 AM to visit the crime scene and secure initial clues. But time is ticking: After about 4-5 hours, the case should ideally be solved, and there are numerous investigative leads scattered throughout the Vulkaneifel. Where exactly the investigations will lead is still uncertain. But witnesses must be questioned, suspects cross-examined, and evidence secured. The investigation ticket costs 59 EUR, and young people receive a 50% discount.
Andreas Kurth, the "station master" of Ahütte, describes the crime fun as follows: "On your own," you investigate throughout the Vulkaneifel around exciting secrets. You immerse yourself in an exciting adventure and are right in the middle of it when you look for witnesses or collect evidence. Without knowing what happens behind the next tree. And right in the middle of a beautiful vacation region. We are already curious which team will be the one to solve the case."

The crime games are original creations of the Museum Station Ahütte, arising from the fact that artists from various genres find inspiration at this special place "from a long-gone era" and thus develop networks. Various actors will be actively involved at the museum station during this weekend, just as authors have previously helped out.
