Study trip from/to the museum railway station Ahütte with a visit to former railway buildings in the Hunsrück, presentation of the Hunsrückbahn e.V. and the planned tourist traffic with rail buses, as well as a guided tour of the museum railway facility in Schwarzerden, which is under threat of closure. To kick off our study week for railway enthusiasts, we will be heading to the Hunsrück, where various initiatives are working on the railway. We will visit the old stations of Deuselbach and Hinzerath, as well as a collection of vehicles. After a refreshment at the station in Hinzerath, we will continue to visit the vehicle collection of the Ostertalbahn Working Group in Schwarzerden, and we plan to make a stop at the "Zylinderhaus" to take a journey through time past 100 vintage cars (no trains), the village pharmacy, and the "Tante Emma Laden". Day tour by bus from Friedrichs Reisen including air conditioning, restroom, and refrigerator. Ticket price 89 EUR until March 30, then 99 EUR.For travelers arriving by train, we also offer a boarding option in likely Wittlich Hbf by arrangement.
