Schienenbusfahrt nach Losheim am See

Bus shuttle from/to Ahütte to a rail bus ride from the museum station in the style of the 1960s along the Saar route to Merzig, where there is a connection to the "replacement transport" to Losheim am See. In Losheim am See, a lunch break (included in the fare) as well as a tour of the railway post museum and the operational facilities with the locomotive shed, steam locomotives, and historic rolling stock are offered. Fare is 109 EUR, with an additional 10 EUR for the bus shuttle from/to the museum station. In contrast to the printed program booklet, we are planning a repeat of our railbus ride from April due to high demand. With "replacement bus service" from Ahütte to Trier, taking the railbus along the beautiful Saar route to Merzig, and then again with the "replacement bus service" to Losheim am See, where after a delicious lunch provided by the Merzig-Losheim Museum Railway Club, we will have guided tours of the Railway Post Museum, the historical vehicle collection, and the museum grounds before heading home. Ticket for the railbus ride including bus transfer Merzig - Losheim am See and lunch 109 EUR per person (plus drinks, if desired). Additional charge for riding from/to Ahütte 10 EUR.
