Museumsbahnhof Ahütte
It is an unusual constellation on this evening when a long-time taxi driver meets both a former priest and a long-time musician to exchange ideas about the question of the meaning of life. Those who know "Taxitom" are aware that it will also not lack in entertainment. Additionally, Winfried Bode will provide atmospheric live music. "Taxitom" with Dr. Claus Wolf and live music by Winfried Bode
It is the waiting room in a small village train station, where three people randomly meet and start a conversation. This must have often played out until the closure of the Ahütte station - and some may have talked to each other who would otherwise never have crossed paths. Perhaps even occasionally addressing questions that one would normally never discuss.
So or similarly, on Saturday, March 21, it will be at the next premiere of a "self-production" by the museum station Ahütte, when three people will engage in conversation in the waiting room of the station, and the audience can be there live and listen in: A former taxi driver, a former priest, and a long-time musician will meet on stage. This time, there is no staging, no theater, but a very real encounter of three people and their seemingly extremely different, fascinating biographies. With life paths that perhaps ultimately have more in common than one initially assumes? But what happens when a former taxi driver, a former priest, and a long-time musician ask each other no less significant questions than those about the meaning of life?
One thing is certain: there will be entertainment and a good atmosphere. For the former taxi driver is "Taxitom," who is celebrating his premiere at the museum station with this event and now performs as a "storyteller" on stages and at events. For Tom Wolff, his taxi in Cologne at night was the stage of life - and now he tells the stories of life that occurred during that time. Sometimes joyful, sometimes funny, and sometimes also sad - just like life.
"Taxitom" and his conversation partner Dr. Claus Wolf, a former priest, will be accompanied by Winfried Bode, who already thrilled the audience in recent weeks with his atmospheric live music during the event format "Night Train Travelers - the Dinner." Singer and songwriter Winfried Bode is known for his wide repertoire of Fifties/Sixties classics, Rock 'n' Roll, Country, and Folk, from which he will serve various samples - characteristically spectacular - on this evening.
The station's gastronomy will also take care of the guests' physical well-being with food and drinks upon request.
Admission costs 12.00 € (reduced in advance with a early bird discount until 03.15 at 10.00 €).
