This year's traditional Gerolstein fair will take place from Friday to Monday again. You can expect several rides as well as culinary highlights and a breathtaking live music program! This year again with children's entertainment!

Gerolstein Fair
Big fair fun with food stalls, fireworks, and markets
from July 31 to August 3, 2026

The festival grounds by the Kyll in Gerolstein will transform into a fairground once again on the last weekend of July. From Friday, July 25 to Monday, July 28, the fair will provide entertainment daily into the evening hours.

Funfair
The fair fun will again be set up at the two large festival grounds by the Kyll as well as at the former post parking lot. There, many attractions will bring the unique fair atmosphere to Gerolstein. There is something for everyone’s taste. In addition to rides like the Break Dance, bumper cars, and the wiper ride, fair visitors can look forward to classics like the “Children's Loop” with a colorful Disney-style design, the children's carousel “Treasure Island,” and numerous skill booths. New this year – the haunted house “Walk of Dead”.
Of course, roasted almonds, chocolate fruits, crêpes, and churros will sweeten the fair visit, and for those who prefer savory, there's currywurst with fries, pizza, potato pancakes, and spit roast.

Fair opening:
The fair will be opened on Friday, July 31, at 7:30 p.m. with the traditional tapping of the keg by Mayor Winfried Wülferath accompanied by the cannon shot from the city soldiers. Afterwards, there will be free beer (while supplies last).

Live music stage and beer garden by the Kyll:
After a stroll through the fair, a music stage with a beer garden and a large live music program at Hutter parking lot invites visitors. Among others, the bands “RockOn” (Friday evening), “Rockpiloten” (Saturday evening), and “KolonneSorgenlos” (Monday evening) will perform. Guests can look forward to enjoyable music evenings here. The beer garden with a view of the Munterley rock invites cozy gatherings and chatting.

Markets:
Another focus will be the markets at the fountain square with the family flea market on Saturday and the flea market on Sunday.

Family Monday
On Sunday, everything will be under the motto “Family Day.” This year, the highlight will again be children's entertainment with Uwe Reetz at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. With captivating melodies, wild dance performances, and clever magic tricks, the children can really let loose with Uwe. Additionally, great motifs await the kids at the face painting booth.

Dolomites in Flames
On Monday evening, the fair will traditionally end at 10:15 p.m. with the motto “Dolomites in Flames” featuring a breathtaking fireworks display!
