There's always something going on in Gerolsteiner Land!
This is not the first time that the Bitburger Combo "A little bit Swing" is on a Gerolsteiner stage. The expectations are high, although the name of the band is rather an understatement. All musicians have played in various formations and bring a wealth of musical experience. Their love for Gipsy Swing brought them together and they have developed a varied, exciting repertoire. It includes French chansons, jazz standards, Latin, and current pieces that they interpret in their own way. Admission free!

Sun Lane Ltd. from Aachen is completely dedicated to New Orleans Jazz. Their style is characterized by a deep admiration for the traditional sounds of the 1920s. Several appearances on ARD and ZDF made the band well known beyond the region. Their authenticity led them to be the first white European jazz band invited directly to New Orleans, where they performed at historic locations such as the Mississippi steamboat Natchez or Fritzel's Jazz Pub on Bourbon Street. In addition to classic jazz standards, they also play hymns, spirituals, and gospel titles. Critics often describe their style as "powerful," "atmospheric," and filled with "unbroken joyful enthusiasm." Free admission!
The Siegfried Line was a military defense system on the western border of the German Reich that was around 630 km long and consisted of over 18,000 bunkers, tunnels and countless trenches and anti-tank barriers. It ran from Kleve on the Dutch border southwards to the Swiss border. The complex was built by the National Socialists between 1936 and 1940. Our hike leads to numerous remnants (bunkers, anti-tank ditches, hump line) of the Westwall.
