The traditional harvest festival in Rockeskyll is celebrated with a varied program. A live band will provide atmosphere and good vibes on Saturday, September 21, starting at 7:30 PM in the large festival tent. The harvest festival Sunday, September 22, traditionally begins at 11:00 AM with a festive service at St. Bartholomew's Church in Rockeskyll, during which the harvest gifts will be blessed. Under the expert guidance of a mushroom expert, we offer interested participants, including children, a mushroom hike in the forests of the Gerolstein region. After an assessment and identification of mushrooms, a "Eifel Mushroom Pan" will be prepared on an open fire with wood. The start is at 1:00 PM. The mushroom search lasts about 2 hours.
