On a natural history hike we learn about mushrooms and their ecological importance for the natural balance.
Recommended minimum age 10 years. Please bring sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing.

To old charcoal-burner sites, through the Lohew forest and to the old boundary stones from the 17th century. Der Westwall im Oberen Kylltal

The Siegfried Line was a military defense system on the western border of the German Reich that was around 630 km long and consisted of over 18,000 bunkers, tunnels and countless trenches and anti-tank barriers. It ran from Kleve on the Dutch border southwards to the Swiss border. The complex was built by the National Socialists between 1936 and 1940. Our hike leads to numerous remnants (bunkers, anti-tank ditches, hump line) of the Westwall.
