Hello! My name is Elvira Leyendecker and I’ve been part of the team at the Hillesheim post office since spring 2026. I live in the idyllic village of Walsdorf, which makes it all the more lovely for me to be working so close to home.
The Kalkeifel Cycle Route is a brilliant tip for anyone who enjoys exploring the Eifel on two wheels. Stretching for around 22 kilometres, it runs from Ahrdorf to Hillesheim Bolsdorf, linking the Kyll Cycle Route with the Ahr Cycle Route. The section through Walsdorf is, of course, particularly lovely for me. I love cycling here myself and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
