Hello everyone! I'm Jutta Perings and I've been working at the Hillesheim post office since June 2024. I'm originally from Eschweiler, but I've been in Oberbettingen for love since 2018. And what can I say? The Eifel has also taken my heart by storm.

My personal tip: the circular hike "Volcanoes, water, Eifelosaurus". The starting point is Oberbettingen, and from there you walk through idyllic forests, past old quarries, volcanoes and babbling brooks. Particularly exciting: the Lühwald geological outcrop with its volcanic deposits and the site where our Eifelosaurus "Bettie" was found in the Wolfskaul quarry. And if the weather cooperates, there are also great views of Kasselburg Castle and Wahlhausen Chapel. A real Eifel adventure right on my doorstep!
