Hello everyone,
My name is Yessica Dohmen and I was born in the Netherlands. I trained as a tourism and leisure business administrator and am a qualified tour guide and travel guide. I’ve always been fascinated by the Eifel, so the decision to move there was made very quickly.
I have been based in Gerolstein since June 2017, where I am responsible for bookkeeping, Dutch translations, guided tours of the Erlöserkirche and providing advice at the information desk.
My tip for you: Visit the Volcano Garden in Steffeln and the Eichholzmaar. The Eichholzmaar is one of the smallest maars in the entire Vulkaneifel and is situated on the country road between Steffeln and Duppach. (Circular walk ‘Maars & Volcanoes’)
