The 5-day hike without luggage is offered all year round. We reserve rooms for you in the accommodation establishments. They will take care of your luggage transport to the next day's destination.
Arrival is possible every day of the week, including Sundays and public holidays.

Day 2: Hiking route Gerolstein-Hillesheim, approx. 20 km
Day 3: Hiking route Hillesheim-Steffeln, approx. 19 km
Day 4: Hiking route Steffeln-Gerolstein, approx. 19 km
5th day: Hike Gerolsteiner Dolomiten Acht / Departure

At Gees, a spring with a very unique mineralization bubbles up in a sandstone enclosure.
The Helenenquelle on the Kyll Cycle Path near Gerolstein Town Hall is a popular resting place for cyclists and hikers. The fresh mineral water comes from a depth of approx. 90 m and can be drunk free of charge from April-October from the brass tap. Here it is worth taking a break and the park is ideal for a small picnic in nature.

On day 3, you hike along local hiking trails and the volcano trail in the direction of Birgel and Lissendorf to Steffeln.
Finally, you hike from Steffeln to Gerolstein on the Vulkaneifel trail "Vulkanpfad". Along the way, you will pass the special sights of Eichholzmaar, Steffelner and Aueler Drees and the Rother Kopf volcano with its millstone caves. Shortly before Gerolstein, you reach the Gerolstein reservoir and walk past the Auberg to the Gerolstein spa gardens.

The rocks “Hustley”, “Munterley”, “Drohende Ley”, “Große Kanzel” and “Auberg” shape the cityscape from afar and form Gerolstein’s landmark. The most famous peak of the Gerolstein Dolomites is the "Munterley" - with an altitude of 482 meters.
