Sun Lane Ltd. from Aachen is completely dedicated to New Orleans Jazz. Their style is characterized by a deep admiration for the traditional sounds of the 1920s. Several appearances on ARD and ZDF made the band well known beyond the region. Their authenticity led them to be the first white European jazz band invited directly to New Orleans, where they performed at historic locations such as the Mississippi steamboat Natchez or Fritzel's Jazz Pub on Bourbon Street. In addition to classic jazz standards, they also play hymns, spirituals, and gospel titles.
