The musicians of Jazzlight have likely already built a large fan base in the Gerolstein area. Years ago, they were able to demonstrate their skills at the event "Dixie City." The band has, of course, evolved musically and is now a groovy combo consisting of six jazz-loving musicians from the Cologne area. They arrange jazz compositions, standards, and classics from the Great American Songbook with a lot of fun and passion. They delve into the genres of swing, Latin, and funk, bringing this music to the stage at Leo's. A musical highlight awaits visitors at this year's "Gerolstein swings." Free admission!

Singer-songwriter Judith Marien accompanies the reading with her expressive voice. She intuitively improvises melodies to the images of the described power places. The group "Schmitzbackes & Co" is known for handmade music without significant technical effort. The musicians predominantly use acoustic instruments, such as the accordion, piano, drums, acoustic guitar, double bass, or also the violin. The musical spectrum is wide-ranging. The program includes jazz standards as well as entertainment music from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, sometimes a blues, where the musical boundaries are, as is often the case, not that far apart. And also one or another self-composed piece is included as well. A particularly interesting sound is created by the rather rarely used instruments accordion and violin. Admission free!
